Time to get think-y!

Today we’re turning to the first book of Erwin McManus’ I ever read. It’s called Soul Cravings, and here is an excerpt:

***phrase missing from sentence in the above extract, “you’ve said a thousand times, YOU CANT BELIEVE IN SOMETHING you can’t see” — even the best proof reading isn’t foolproof!***
Questions for thoughtful consideration:
- What are some of the things you put your faith in, that cannot be proven scientifically or seen with the naked eye?
- If we know that we trust things that we cannot see, why do we find it so hard to trust God?
- How does your soul breathe in God? What I mean is – what are some of the practices that you can incorporate into every day life that might help you breathe in God? What are some of the things you can do regularly that help you feel God’s presence in your life? (Do you need a hint? One of mine would be watching the sun set from my balcony – looking at the colours and taking pictures and celebrating the beauty of the good world God made.)
Until tomorrow, dear friends, keep on thinking it through – this too, is worship!
